Twin River Casino Sportsbook I've had a parlay on limbo for 5 months now. It was basically impossible to get them on the phone with the lockdown going on but I called a couple weeks ago finally able to get through. My parlay went into limbo when one of the matches got suspended for an hour. Table tennis. The match played and my guy won. Why is it so difficult to get this closed out is it normal. They said they would contact me when it is closed its been 2 weeks since that. Some scandalous behavior
Palantir and EV Stocks are a surefire ticket to Yolo, Tendietown but there are some other WSB ignored stocks making moves right now. Recently Bally's Corp (Owner of establishes casinos such as twin River Casino Hotel, Hard Rock Biloxi, Tiverton Casino Hotel, Dover Downs, and Mile High USA) inked a deal 10 year deal with Sinclair Broadcasting and separately purchased online sports betting operatotech stack Bet.works for $100million. In this 10 year deal all of Sinclair's Regional Sports Networks will receive the Bally's Brand. Sinclair receives warrants to purchase up to 30% of Bally's stock. This deal will enable live sports betting in real time through a reputable operator while the game is being broadcast as well as during commercial breaks. Imagine you're in your wife's boyfriend's basement, watching the college you didn't get accepted to playing the college you dropped out of. During a commercial break you see the lines plus potentially a prop bet and with the bally's app on your phone you're able to place the bet and have a reason to stay awake for the 2nd half of the game. This could be a bigger opportunity than even draft kings as it won't be limited to daily fantasy sports but allow for direct sports betting. Since the news the stock has rallied 60% but has pulled back recently potentially presenting a buying opportunity. This news is only a few days old but analysts who have updated guidance are looking at $55-$65 price targets once the market digests what this deal can mean. As state budget's try to survive the upcoming pandemic related hangovers, expect more and more sports betting legislation to pass and this Ballys+Sinclair partnership has a nearly unmatchable reach in terms of audience reach. Hi. I'm new to the area and I have A LOT of coins. I haven't found a bank that will count them for me and Coinstar charges waaaaay too much for this service. I've heard that some casinos offer this and I'm wondering if anyone in Reddit World knows if Twin Rivers Casino offers this.
So, I was playing at my local card room (twin river casino), and I'm still pretty new to live poker, but I love it. I'm BB at a $1/$2, get dealt 45o. Action comes round to me, and I wasn't thinking, and made a slight folding action. Dealer says "you have option", and I quickly picked my cards back up and checked. Someone at the table said "you can't do that", and he was probably right, but the dealer said "the cards didn't hit the muck, he can still play them", so I did. Flop comes 3 2 A, I ended up flopping a straight. Bet 20 post flop, 2 people called it. Bet 20 at the turn, they both called it. Bet 20 again at the river, they both called. I won a ~$200 pot. Initial guy that said "you can't do that" was dumbfounded that I flopped a straight. Took my $400 and walked away 2 hands later. Just how bad of a fuck up was this, and should have I just took the honorable route and folded? EDIT: yes my bet sizing was trash
About 1 & 1/2 years ago, I was sitting at a poker table at Twin Rivers Casino in Rhode Island. I don’t remember how the conversation started, but we began discussing investments. The discussion was mainly focused around crypto currencies. Bitcoin was the center of discussion. At that time I heard of Bitcoin but knew nothing else about it nor did I even have a conception of what crypto currency was all about. However, I did make notes. I scribbled down Bitcoin, XRP and several others. Eventually, someone sitting opposite me, as he was raking in this massive pot, looked at me and said “Have you ever heard of Microvision?” I listened to him half heartedly as he talked about it though it did sound interesting. I’ve been in this situation before, someone tells you about a real hot tip then you go invest a little money and end up losing all your money. I did that with a company that made sneakers for women called “Ryka”, ever hear of it? Anyway I jotted down MVIS... I later did some considerable research on crypto’s. I became a bit of an expert on Bitcoin and XRP. The more I learned the more I was sure that kind of investment wasn’t for me. I moved on and began researching this company called MicroVision. The more I read the more I started to believe that this company might have something. What I saw was a company that had a very cool technology that initially was ahead of its time. But at this time, now, in 2018, it appeared to me that a broad market was beginning to open up for this kind of technology. As I read more and more the more I was convinced. When I happened upon MVIS, the doors opened up. I found a dedicated group of people that have been following this company for years. I was amazed by how much information you all gathered. It was like having a window into the business that only insiders would normally have any information about. I just wanted to thank all you long time regulars including Peter and his blog. How many years has he held true to that blog?! It actually feels unfair that I got in now, right at the cusp. I owe all you guys for that including the mysterious poker player. Hell, I just now met Alexander Tokeman for the first time: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7MQtsuj1y-I&autoplay=1 GLTAL
Ok, the topic is misleading, but hear me out. I've been playing craps for many years and I have a decent table in my basement. So, I'm very comfortable throwing dice. I'm right-handed and prefer throwing from straight up the table. I set my dice and usually do pretty well (15-20 throws). Well, one night I was at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI. It was getting late and my wife was already up at our comp'd room. I decided to spend another hour or so at the craps table. The table was pretty busy, but very cold, so I was playing minimums on 6 and 8 until it was my turn to throw. I was located on the hook just next to 1st base. Slightly off from where I prefer to be. But, nevertheless, it was a decent place for a righty. I get the dice and throw two 7's and a yo then a point. Now everyone (including myself) is placing bets in anticipation of a table changing throw. I get the dice back, bets everywhere, I set the dice for throwing hardways, swing back.... and the dice take a shit right out of my fingers, land just past halfway down the table and you guessed it. 7 out. I was deflated. I can hear people mumbling and complaining that I can't even reach the other end of the table. Needless to say, I walked away and went to bed. But the story doesn't end there.... I got up the next morning, determined to go back down and vindicate myself as well as regain my pride. I got my spot straight up the table, got the dice, two yo's and a point. Bets are flying! "Dice are out!" I set them up, assuring myself that I'm not going to make myself look like an idiot again, nice controlled swing back with my eyes on my opposite-end passline target and..... it freakin' happened AGAIN!! I knew then that it was not meant to be my weekend. Color up! I gotta go. I've been back many times and haven't had the same issue. But, man, this was one that I'll never forget.
Twin River and Tiverton casinos to temporary close
https://turnto10.com/news/local/twin-river-and-tiverton-casinos-to-temporary-close Twin River Casino Hotel and Tiverton Casino Hotel will close temporarily for a week starting midnight Saturday. According to a release from the casino’s president, the closing comes after a state directive to combat COVID-19. The casinos initially plan to close for a week but will reassess if conditions change said the company. “We sincerely regret any inconvenience to our customers. However, the State’s efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus are of paramount importance,” said Casino President Marc Crisafulli. “We believe this preventative approach is a necessary step to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and all Rhode Islanders.” The casino company says it will implement protective measures for their customers.
So I was shooting craps at twin river casino (Lincoln RI) over the weekend, and the new shift of dealers comes in. The nametag on the stick girl? Chulah! Sadly I couldn't take a pic and my GF had no idea wtf I was talking about. Did I win? No. No I did not.
Jayson Tatum allegedly at casino after Game 3 loss vs Milwaukee
Jayson Tatum seen at the Twin River Casino AT 3 FUCKING AM Man oh man, this is not a good look for him if this is indeed true. HOWEVER, I know we have a long time to prepare since we had two days in between He has not had a great playoffs, and if this is true, it may tell that he is not entirely focused for the playoff run. I'll cut him some slack. Michael Jordan did the same thing but still led the Bulls to the win vs New York https://www.instagram.com/p/BxFlfWsFK4?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=g9ooq9rh5max
Folded AA and KK in 2 different hands. So proud of myself!
I am new live 1-2 cash player. Started playing 3 months ago. Net net have lost more than won. But definitely I feel I understand more whats going on now compared to 2 weeks or a month ago. Hand description is not to the point. I tried best. So yesterday at Twin River casino in RI pretty active table. A couple sits down and lady has won few pots with good solid Top pair hands and lost to trips once. I get AA (forgot the suits, no flush draw involved) in Small blind. 5 limps to me, I make 15 (which was ok as everyone was raising 10-12 consistently). Two calls UTG (guy) and MP (lady, UTG's GF/wife). Flop is K5T rainbow. I bet 25 both call. Turn is 9 I bet 50 UTG folds and lady jams all in for 225. I cover her. I tanked and tried to talk to her. She was smiling and confident. I said will you show if I fold, she says I'll show if you put in the money. (Which is meaningless but I got that she wanted me to put money in). I folded and she shows KK for a flopped set. I have gone broke in these situations so many times. I thought at the very least she'll have 2 pair and I can't beat that so I folded. Set was stronger than I expected. So happy that I lost minimum in that. Second hand was similarly from BB, different table but active as well. (Man Friday and Saturdays nights are crazy). I get KK. 5 Limps to me, I make 10, 3 calls. Flop 684 (two hearts). I bet 25, UTH raises to 50, MP calls and Button jams for 125. I am in such a bad spot. I would have definitely jammed my $800 stack just few weeks ago. I made a fold. (For many it may be easy fold but its new to me) So I fold, both the rest call. turn is 2 of hearts. UTG jams for his rest 45, MP calls. River brick immaterial. UTG and MP have J high and 8 high flushes and Button had flopped straight. Although I should call hands which are drawing but when person raises me and next cold calls its difficult to put both on draw. Maybe someone has set or at least 2 pair. Button jam was too strong which made it easy for me. But I came out of these hands losing minimum. So happy. This weekend I am up for $960 (Friday+Saturday), Online is not something I enjoy or make any money in. I love live cause sometimes some people are just too funny. And some crazies betting 20 times the pot. Just wanted to share my experience. *Edit - I understand now, preflop raise was not enough. Should have raised more.
Live players of r/poker: what makes you better than other regs in your game?
Most of our profit comes from playing against weaker players, but having an edge against the other regs in the room is important as well. What is one thing you do better than your reg opponents?
I mostly play a 500 cap $2/$5 NL game at Twin River Casino. I’ve noticed that many of the regs in this game are very careless about their c-bets, and I often see them burn money with bad c-bet bluffs into multiple opponents on coordinated board textures that are bad for their range. My ability to make fewer c-bet bluff mistakes than my opponents is one area in which I have an edge on these players.
This question is purposefully broad. I'm interested in answers related to poker strategy, but also anything related to BRM, tilt, game selection, etc.
So I have had a problem gambling for around 2 years now. It started with baseball and overseas books and slowly crept into other sports, my lowest point when I was betting hundreds on Brazilian Junior Basketball, id find myself sitting in my car for an hour refreshing the score hoping that I would hit the over or under. I then ran into some financial problems because I would go big and put more money down than what I should have, impulsiveness caused this thing to spiral out. I then got introduced into table games which baccarat provided some financial relief but then burdened me even further. Long story short, 24 months later I’m down 4.5k that I owe to a bank, my local bookie in town thinks I tried commuting suicide to get out of a debt and I battle every day with the temptation to gamble, especially with Twin River (casino in RI) opening its first sports book in New England. I haven’t gambled in two weeks but I find myself close to the urge, especially on the weekends when football is on.

Mobile sports wagering bill proposed in Rhode Island
Senate President Dominick Ruggerio has introduced a bill to allow mobile sports wagering in Rhode Island. Ruggerio proposed the bill on Wednesday and said mobile gaming would generate greater revenue. Twin River Casino in Lincoln accepted its first bets on professional sports in November. However, Ruggerio would like to enable the creation of an app to access Twin River’s sportsbook from anywhere in Rhode Island. The proposal suggests creating accounts in person at either Twin River or Tiverton casinos, allowing staff to verify the player’s age. Rhode Island’s first sports wagers were accepted on 26 November, although the state enacted legislation back in June. Delays pushed back the October start date, reportedly costing the state $12m in expected revenue. Source: Gamblinginsider.com
Have any of you guys ever played at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in upstate New York? If so, what are the $1/$2 NL games like? How good are the players and how much is the rake? How long is the average wait on the weekends? Is the poker room itself nice? My friends and I are 18, so we don't have too much flexibility in where we can play. Our usual spot is Twin River Casino in RI. The games there are super soft but the casino itself is very shitty so we've been thinking about exploring some other options.
Hey guys. I'm an 18 year old who mostly plays at Twin River Casino in RI. Recently I came across the Manchester Poker Room in NH and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. The main reason I'm interested in the room is the 1/2 PLO8 and the 1/3 PLO. How often do these games run? How tough are they? How deep do they usually play? I also have a friend who will probably be looking to play NL, so any information on those games would be good as well. The games at Twin River are super soft so it might not be worth going to Manchester if the tables there are reg-infested. Thanks!

19 year old considering traveling to Montreal to play Poker.
So I've been playing a ton of online bitcoin poker, setting up live tournaments with my friends and my class schedule for college is blocked to Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I've been considering traveling to Rhode Island once table games are added to the Twin River Casino in July but until then I was thinking of traveling to Montreal on Fridays and staying for the weekend. Not often, but depending on how things go, maybe a few times. What's reddits opinion? Best places to go? Things to see? Inexpensive place to stay (considering using coachsurfing.com)? Advice or criticism?
